India celebrated World Environment Day with enthusiasm and powerful environmental awareness campaigns across the country. From Greenathon rallies in Jamshedpur to special sand animation performances in Puri, people came together to spread the message of environmental conservation.

A special Ganga Aarti was organized in Prayagraj under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, while Shimla hosted a mini marathon promoting fitness and environmental awareness. PM Narendra Modi also extended his wishes on World Environment Day and praised the efforts towards protecting nature and increasing green cover in India.
