Social media influencer Sharmishtha Panoli, who was arrested in connection with a controversial social media post linked to Operation Sindoor, has responded on several issues including the police action in West Bengal and the use of state resources. She questioned why extensive resources were used to arrest a law student, while similar urgency was not seen in serious cases like the R.G. Kar incident and corruption cases. Sharmishtha also said that her father always taught her that nothing is above the nation. Referring to the Pahalgam attack, she expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives. She further clarified that her intention was never to hurt any religious identity and stated that she is continuously working to improve her language and expression.
