Mumbai: During an exclusive conversation with Anwesh, an IRS officer-turned-filmmaker, discussed his journey making ‘Kathakar Ki Diary,’ a film showcasing stories of common people. He shared how he balanced filmmaking with his job, working tirelessly on editing and shooting during evenings and weekends. Anwesh talked about the film's impact, appreciation recieved in screenings where legendary actor Shatrughan Sinha, an alumunus of FTII, saw the film and complemented saying, it reminds him of the doyen of cinema Satyajit Ray and Mrinal Sen, and his experience working with seasoned professionals like Asim Sinha, who edited films for Shyam Benegal.
